Formula Student Race Car Chassis Design and Analysis

SAE (The Society of Automotive Engineers) tarafından düzenlenen resmi bir proje yarışması olan Formula Stu-dent, dünya çapında birçok üniversite öğrencilerinin kendi bilgi birikimlerini kullanarak belirlenen kurallara uygun şekilde tipi yarış arabası tasarlamasını amaçlayarak, öğrencilerin otomotiv sahasındaki bilgilerini geliştirmelerine imkan tanımaktadır. Bu çalışmada SolidWorks 2018 programı ile Student aracının şasi sistemi tasarım kriterleri dikkate alınarak yeniden tasarlanmıştır. ANSYS 16.0 ve Simulation programları sisteminin mekanik zorlanmalara karşı dayanımlarını belirlemek için optimizas-yon çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Şasi tasarımı yapıldıktan sonra şasinin ön darbe analizi, arka yan torsiyonel rijitlik analizi aracında kullanılmak tasarlanan şasinin, gerçekleştirilen analizler doğrultusunda, hedeflenen derecesine fazlasıyla sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan neticesinde yarışma kuralları daraltılarak daha hafif rijit tasarımlar elde edilmiştir. araç şasisi muadillerine göre nebze (%30) ağır olsa da, ergonomik olması bakımın-dan oldukça üstündür.
